The campsites are on the shores of the magnificent 25,560-acre Lake Palestine, one of the best fishing spots in Texas. You can pitch your tent or park your RV in the shade of the trees right next to a boat ramp and order a superbly prepared steak delivered to your campsite from the BBQ restaurant.
The marina is close to the campground and has experienced guides that will assist you in finding all the best fishing spots around the lake to catch largemouth, spotted, white, black, and hybrid striped bass, sunfish, crappie, and catfish.
4. Mill Creek Ranch Resort
Camp out in style at the award-winning Mill Creek Ranch Resort at 1880 North Trade Days Boulevard in Canton, 26.4 miles from Athens.
